Rob and Ferne – Married

Nothing about Rob and Fernes wedding day was traditional but that was just the way they wanted it and it suited them to a tee. Beautiful handmade paper flowers and clutches replaced bouquets and an intimate dessert bar replaced a full on sit down reception. We had heaps of fun amongst the Silo markets and were blessed with gorgeous evening light down in the viaduct before moving on to Tiny Triumphs Cafe in Devonport. Congrats!

Sam and Sora – Married

There is usually slim chance when rain is forecast for the week that you will get sunshine for the weekend instead, but after we met up with these two at their Warkworth ceremony, there were only clear skies ahead. It made for a relaxing sail to Kawau Island for the bridal party aboard a private chartered yacht (talk about arriving in style!) Meanwhile behind us the ferry had an unfortunate breakdown with all the guests on board! The upside was having more time to shoot these gorgeous people in the most gorgeous luminous light. Once everyone arrived on the island and enjoyed drinks by the Mansion House, a very casual yet intimate dinner followed at the Mansion House Cafe. Sam & Sora thank you for letting us document your special day. I’m so glad the weatherman was wrong. You guys are so chill, I wish you many more sunny days to enjoy together, especially ones with good surf!

Brittany & Aiden – Married

Brittany and Aiden’s big day turned out so perfectly. What more could you want for a summer wedding than sun, sand, sea, your love and good friends? It all came together in a wonderfully relaxed way. The ceremony was held in the cutest garden at the beautiful Cassels after which we took a drive out to nearby Bethels Beach for some photos. These two are so chilled out and down to earth you could see that come through in all their wedding details. Well done on organising a great day. Big congratulations guys, it was a pleasure to shoot you.

Tenille & Andreas – Married

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding to be our last for the season! Tenille & Andreas’ wedding was a gorgeous international affair! Guests made it from as far as Germany (where the groom is from) and the whole wedding was broadcast via internet feed as far as the US & UK! They chose to feature beautiful muted colours throughout the wedding, making it perfectly match the Autumn weather. The unpredictable Auckland weather held off long enough to get a rain-free ceremony and another shower cleared later for us to go and take some stunning photos around the grounds of the Gracehill Estate, where their special day was held. The love and culture bringing these two families together was undeniable, it was beautiful to be a part of. Congratulations Tenille & Andreas!
