We were excited to have our first out-of-Auckland wedding with Tammy & Ajay in Dunedin. I have to say this is the first wedding I(Chloe) have ever cried at, when I heard the song they had chosen for their first dance (no, I didn’t even cry at our own!) . “Tammy” by Debbie Reynolds which fitted perfectly with the chorus “Tammy’s in love ….” was the song Tams & I used to dance to as 5 year olds pretending to be ballerinas and hearing in then in that special moment just filled me with love. Overall their day was simple and intimate with lots of family around and a few special surprises provided by the groom, nice job with the lanterns Ajay!. Thank you guys so much for letting us be so involved in your special day. You are beautiful people.
Perfect light + perfect bride & groom + perfect details. What more could a photographer ask for? Tamlyn and Drew had a lovely summer wedding with their reception held at Fernz Restaurant on the North Shore of Auckland. All details were handmade by the bride and groom themselves! I also have to tell you this pair are amazing dancers! Take a peek at their big day…
A few favourites from our recent travels.
We were thrilled to be asked by our good friends Jess and Jaden to photograph their wedding. In Rarotonga! Of course we jumped at the chance to shoot our first destination wedding! Rarotonga is such a beautiful place, as anyone who has been there will know … but we think this adorable couple outshone their surroundings. Their day was held at the lovely Pacific Resort. It was a day full of love & family and you could see this right down to the details. Enjoy!
What is better than love? True love! You could see the true love that Ryan & Chloe share on their very intimate and perfect wedding day (despite some light rain!). We survived the rain and had a great time shooting in the cellar at Soljans Estate Winery. Not to mention how attractive is this couple? They made our job easy! Take a look for yourself….
